Capreol Stories

Tell us your Capreol story. Where did you work? Where did you go to school? What was a day in your life like? Is there an event you remember? No story is too big or too small! Every story deserves to be told, so take a moment and tell us yours.

The Sudbury Writers’ Guild, Reading Town, the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre and the Capreol 100 Committee are looking for stories about Capreol for their Centennial celebrations later this year. (July 28th to August 5th) for more information on the centennial visit www.capreol100.ca

If you want to write your stories down, you can post them here in the form below or, drop your story off at the Capreol Railroad Museum. Your story could be published on a banner and put on display in Capreol for years to come.

If writing is not your thing you can simply tell us your story. Use the same form below to enter your name, phone number or email address and we will contact you to book an appointment. All you have to do is talk and we will do the recording and editing.

Share your memories of Capreol. Recount anecdotes about your family’s arrival in town or tell us a story about a friend, relative or pet. Our members are looking for inspiration and you can provide it. All stories must submitted or recorded before March 15th 2018.  Stories should be between 750-1000 words.
