Liisa Kovala is a teacher and writer living in Sudbury, Ontario. She is a member of Sudbury Writers’ Guild and has published fiction and non-fiction pieces in CommuterLit.com, Sudbury Living, Canadian Stories and Canadian Teacher Magazine.
Liisa recently graduated from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies where she earned a Certificate of Creative Writing. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in English (Honours) and a Bachelor of Education from University of Ottawa, as well as a Master of Education from Nipissing University. She enjoys taking courses and workshops in creative writing and sharing her passion for reading and writing with her students.
