Writing a Romance Novel

Join us on Thursday April 4th, 2024 for an online workshop hosted by Rosanna Micelotta Battigelli. Sponsored by the Sudbury Writers’ Guild and the Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKSHOP
7-8 p.m.: Instructional Time: Presentation and Exercise.
Presentation: Rosanna will begin by sharing how she came to write five romance novels for Harlequin. She will talk about her story ideas and writing the first draft. Points and tips about character development, back story, dialogue, and setting will be made with brief examples (quotes) from her novels.
Exercise (for those who wish): Rosanna will read her blurbs describing each romance novel. Note: In advance of this presentation, Rosanna encourages guests to check out her website pages about her five Harlequin Romances, including the blurbs. She will allot a few minutes to guests to create a blurb for their own romance and invite them to share.
