Scott Overton was a radio broadcaster for more than thirty years, twenty-five of those years as a morning man in Sudbury on AM 790 CIGM and Rewind 103.9 . Scott’s novel Dead Air, published by Scrivener Press of Sudbury, is a mystery/thriller about the world of radio. Dead Air was shortlisted for a Northern Lit Award in Ontario. But most of his writing is science fiction and fantasy. His short fiction has been published in the magazines On Spec, Neo-opsis, Penumbra and several Canadian and American anthologies including Canadian Tales of the Fantastic, In Poe’s Shadow, and Tesseracts Sixteen: Parnassus Unbound. His distractions from writing include scuba diving and a couple of collector cars.
